How to Login to Discomap Portal

This guide is designed to help EEA users log in to the Discomap portal. It also contains some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) to assist you in case of issues or questions.

Steps to Login

  1. Go to the portal page: Discomap Login Page.

On the top right corner, locate the Sign In button.
Click the Sign In button, and you will see two options:

  • EEA Office 365
  • ArcGIS login

2. Click on EEA Office 365 (do not use the ArcGIS login option).
You will now see a form to enter your Eionet username.

3. Enter your Eionet username.
4. You will then be prompted to enter your password.

5. If this is your first visit to the Discomap portal, you will need to configure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): - Scan the QR code displayed on the screen using a mobile authenticator application such as: - Microsoft Authenticator - Google Authenticator - FreeOTP, etc. - Once scanned, enter the OTP (One-Time Password) generated by the authenticator app.

6. After completing MFA, your account will be successfully configured.

7. On your next visit to the Discomap portal, you can log in using either: - Your username and authenticator code. - Clicking on the Try Another Way link to use your password. Login 4 Login 5
8. After logging in, verify your username in the top-right corner of the portal.
Your username should match your Eionet username (e.g., discoeea).
If your username has numbers (e.g., discoeea2), contact the support team.


Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. I am trying to log in with my username and password, but it does not work. What could be wrong?

Answer: Ensure you are selecting EEA Office 365 instead of ArcGIS login.

2. I am using EEA Office 365 and entered my username and code from the Authenticator, but it says "invalid code." What’s wrong?

Answer: Confirm that your Authenticator is configured correctly as described in Step 4 above. Ensure you are using the code for eea-login.


3. I configured my authenticator using a QR code before, but now it asks to set up the Mobile Authenticator again. What should I do?

Answer: Follow the steps to set it up again. If eea-login is already in your Authenticator app, you may delete it to restart the setup correctly.


4. What username should I use to access the Discomap portal?

Answer: Use your Eionet username and password.


5. I managed to log in, but my account seems different or incorrect. What’s wrong?

Answer: Check your username in the top-right corner of the portal.
